An ancient art form for a new chapel

Edina artist Judy Freeman designed the stained glass windows for the chapel at the new Sholom Home on Kay Avenue in St. Paul. The grand opening of the facility was Sunday, June 28. Freeman taught Art Masterpiece at Creek Valley Elementary School several years ago.

Wasilla resident, Samuel D. Berg, 20, died June 24 at his home in Wasilla. He was born March 4, 1989 in Silver City, .C., to Matthew and Mary Berg. There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel, 1015 S. Check Street, in Wasilla.
